Louise Hullinger
Louise Liffengren Hullinger is a teacher, author, poet, and one of the founders of the Learning Disabilities Association of America. A strength is that she has learned to pare what she writes. ("In every book there is a thin book trying to get out.") Her early writing dealt with learning disabilities (because of her son Neil); she has two published books on LD. She now concentrates on writing for children.
